You will partner closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to drive consistency, improve processes, and support a growing, multi-entity business.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of their work—someone who can help drive accurate, timely financials with speed and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & General Accounting
  •  Support and progressively own components of the monthly close process (target: 5–7 business days)
  •  Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications
  •  Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in the appropriate accounting period
  •  Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
Account Reconciliations & Balance Sheet Integrity
Perform and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including:
    •  Cash and credit cards
    •  Accounts receivable and accounts payable
    •  Prepaids and accrued expenses
    •  Fixed assets
    •  Intercompany accounts
    •  Deferred revenue and other liabilities
  •  Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  •  Maintain detailed supporting schedules and ensure accounts are audit-ready
Payables Oversight & Transaction Support
  •  Review payables for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and documentation
  •  Assist with payment processing (ACH, checks, electronic payments) as needed
  •  Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  •  Support AP/AR functions to ensure timely and accurate processing
Accruals, Analysis & Reporting Support
  •  Identify and record necessary accruals and estimates
  •  Assist with variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations
  •  Partner with operations to research and resolve discrepancies
Systems, Process Improvement & Controls
  •  Identify opportunities to improve close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  •  Support and maintain systems such as Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and related platforms
  •  Assist with system implementations, integrations, and process enhancements
  •  Document accounting procedures and support development of internal controls
Collaboration & Support
  •  Partner with Accounting and Operations teams to ensure alignment of financial data
  •  Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  •  Support audit and lender requests by providing accurate documentation and analysis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  •  4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  •  Strong understanding of GAAP
  •  Experience with:
    • Month-end close
    • Account reconciliations
    • Accrual accounting
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Bill.com, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Multi-entity or multi-location experience
  • Intercompany accounting and consolidations
  • Deferred revenue or subscription-based accounting experience
What You'll Bring
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  •  Ability to take ownership and work independently
  •  Effective time management and organization

  •  Regular communication via virtual meetings and written formats
  •  Occasional movement of items up to 20 pounds
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
